NEW!!!

>>Connect<< to #13pzdiv NOW using pjIRC!

All you need is Java, which you should already have. If you dont, it's easy to get!!!

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

*Instructions for connecting with an IRC client*

Open your IRC client and connect to:

#13pzdiv @ Quakenet.org

How to AUTH with Quakenet:

Connect to quakenet, and type this in the server console (not in any channel):

/msg Q help hello

^ That will give you instructions on registering. Follow the instructions and it will email you a message with an activation link.

*IMPORTANT*: Remember your authname is not your nick. Do NOT use any brackets or other characters besides numbers and letters in your authname or you may have problems!

In the email you recieve from Quakenet, you will see a line of text with your username and a randomly generated password. It should look something like this:

/MSG Q@CServe.quakenet.org AUTH <username> <P4s5w0rD>

In order to AUTH with Quakenet at this point, all you have to do is copy that line of text and paste it into the quaknet server console. Thats it, youre AUTHed!

How to AUTH with Gamesurge:

Gamesurge has a more user-friendly method of AUTHing. All you have to do is visit this link, fill in your information, and wait for an email to be sent to you with your AUTH name and password.

You will receive a line of text to input at the Gamesurge server console. Once you do so, you will recieve a message from the server that says "I recognize you". Thats it!

How to connect to both Gamesurge and Quaknet using mIRC:

user posted image

Step One:

In mIRC, go to File-->Select Server (Alt+E)
Click the Add button
Fill in the server info for Gamesurge as depicted in the above *.gif file:

Description: Gamesurge
IRC Server: Select from this list
Port(s): 6667
Group: Gamesurge

Click OK

Fill in the server info for Quakenet as depicted in the above *.gif file:

Description: QuakeNet
IRC Server: Select from this list
Port(s): 6667-6669
Group: Quakenet

Click OK

Step Two:

Below the "Server" section of your options, you should see "Options".

Here you will find a button named "Perform". Click it.

Add gamesurge to the list of networks in which you want to use the perform field. (Gamesurge and Quakenet in this case)

In your Gamesurge perform field, add these lines. Fill in your own info where indicated:
QUOTE
/authserv AUTH <yourauthname> <yourauthpassword>
/nick <yournick>
/join #13pzdiv
/join #redorchestra
if ($scid(0) == 1) /server -m Quakenet

*IMPORTANT: the last line in this perform field indicates that you wish to connect to another server, and that if there is only one connection open, it should try to recconnect. (In case you get disconnected from quakenet)

In your Quakenet perform field, add these lines. Fill in your own info where indicated:
QUOTE
/msg Q@CServe.quakenet.org AUTH <yourauthname> <yourauthpassword>
/nick <yournick>
/join #13pzdiv
/join #roladder

Make sure "Enable Perform on Connect" is enabled, and click OK.

Step Three:

Now make sure your nickname is set the way you want it, select Gamesurge, and select "Connect to Server".

That should do it!
